CSBA Director-at-Large, County
Heidi Weiland, a board member on the El Dorado County Office of Education, is the Director-at-Large, County for the California School Boards Association and has served on the California School Boards Association since 2010. She also is a member on the Executive Committee for the California County Boards of Education.
Weiland has served on the board of trustees for the El Dorado County Office of Education since 2000, including two years as president. She also serves on the Sugarloaf Foundation Board — the oversight board for a visual and performing fine arts camp, and the El Dorado Arts Council Board, a local nonprofit that is the incubator for the arts in the county and the coordinating agency for the arts in local education.
Weiland is a self-employed small business owner; a member of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce; former executive director for the El Dorado County Employees Association, Local #1; was a facilitator/instructor for the UC Davis Public Policy Institute; and member of the Mosquito Fire board. Her local community activities include serving in various leadership roles and she currently serves on a committee of local business leaders and educators focused on the correlation between education and economic development.
